One of the ways that Attorney Pritchard and his family give back to the
Killeen community is through the Sub for Santa program. For the last three
years, the Pritchard family has chosen to give back to those in need during
Christmas.
Pritchard Family Involved in Sub for Santa Program
Sub for Santa is a program that connects families that need assistance
providing their children with Christmas gifts with families and sponsors
that can provide toys, clothing, and other necessities. Each year, thousands
of families and children benefit from the generosity and support of sponsors.
To qualify, applicants attend workshops about the program and must bring
some documents of proof to the final workshop to receive assistance from
the organization. According to program specifications, sponsors are asked
to donate two or three new items of clothing, two new toys, and a book
for each child in the family.
Attorney Pritchard and his family are committed to giving back to the community
through the Sub for Santa program. With their children, the money that
would have been spent on Christmas gifts was instead allocated to sponsored
families. The first year of the program, they sponsored two families,
with each person receiving $100 worth of toys, food, and personal hygiene
products for Christmas.
After wrapping and delivering these Christmas gifts to their sponsored
families, the Pritchard family got to see another side of life they were
not privy to. Sub for Santa quickly became a favorite tradition in Attorney
Pritchard's household. While circumstances beyond their control led
to one of their families being dropped from the sponsorship program, Attorney
Pritchard and his family still have an excellent relationship with the
family and have kept in contact with them. Over time, they have even provided
them with computers, televisions, and other gifts for the children.
Attorney Pritchard and his family are happy to cut down the size of their
Christmas to give back to the Killeen community. This is just one of the
many ways that our firm is involved in our local community and we look
